England in West Indies, 2008/09
Windies Name Squad For 3rd & 4th ODIs Against England
24-Mar-2009 07:36:00 IST

Bridgetown: Uncapped opening batsman Dale Richards replaced Devon Smith, who didn't appear in either of the first two matches in Guyana. The 32-year-old Richards was in the first test squad against England in February but was forced to withdraw due to a foot injury.

Fast bowler Ravi Rampaul returned on Monday at the expense of Daren Powell, who endured a lean test series and was disappointing in the first match. The 24-year-old Rampaul last played international cricket in February 2008 in Johannesburg.

The five-match series is level at 1-1.

Squad: West Indies: Chris Gayle (c), Denesh Ramdin (vc & wk), Lionel Baker, Dwayne Bravo, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Fidel Edwards, Nikita Miller, Kieron Pollard, Ravi Rampaul, Dale Richards, Darren Sammy, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Lendl Simmons.
