India tour of Srilanka 2008, One Day Series
Sri Lanka v India 3rd (Third) ODI : Preview
Last Update : 23-Aug-2008 07:37:00 IST

Colombo: The stage is set for last three matches of the One-day series and Team India is taking a lot of consolation from the fact that only one batsman from either side could cross the 50 run barrier in the first two matches in Dambulla: Sri Lanka's captain Mahela Jayawardene, who remained unbeaten on 61 in the first match.

To ensure that India get things right on the field, coach Gary Kirstan himself sweated it out along with the cricketers in the nets on Friday morning. He divided the cricketers into two groups, giving extra attention stressed on feet movement and back lifts.

In the batting department, there is immense pressure on Rohit Sharma as well to save his place in the playing XI after S Badrinath made a fighting 27 in he last match and even shared a match-winning partnership of 60 with Indian skipper MS Dhoni.
