Colombo: Today Sri Lanka selection committee announced 15-members for ODI series against Zimbabwe in November 2008. Sanath Jayasuriya has been rested and 21-year old all-rounder Angelo Mathews included, because he impressive performance with the 'Sri Lanka A'.

Middle order batsmen Chamara Silva and Tillakaratne Dilshan dropped for his flop show in last series against India. Good chance for proof Upul Tharanga, who will open the batting with Mahela Udawatte having returned to form recently.

Wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara has been selected subject to him recovering fully from a recent finger operation. Sri Lanka are scheduled to play five ODIs against Zimbabwe in a tour starting on Nov. 10, 2008.
