Mirpur: A brilliant all round performance by Jacob Oram, New Zealand bounce back in second One-day defeat host team by 75 runs and level the series one all. Oram figure 2-23 in bowling, 75 not out in batting and two catches in fielding. Oram hits 3 sixes (total 25 runs) in last overs reach New Zealand total 212 for 9.

From Bangladesh, only skipper Mohammad Ashraful 40 (86b 2x4) and opener Junaid Siddique c Vettori b Southee 32 (68b 3x4) some contribution all players stuck against New Zealand bowlers.

In morning Bangladesh skipper won the toss and again decided to field first. His fast bowler Syed Rasel (3-23) and support by spinner Shakib Al Hasan (2-20) & Naeem Islam 2-20) dominated to restrict New Zealand to 212-9 in the second one-day international here on Saturday.

One stage New Zealand 115 for seven, and Jacob Oram top-scored with a solid 75 (62b 5x4 4x6) and added 41 runs for the eighth wicket and unbeaten 45 for tenth wicket with  JS Patel but that was enough and this time New Zealand to avoid their lowest one-day total against Bangladesh. Their previous lowest total against Bangladesh was 201 in last match.

Jesse Ryder (30) and LRPL Taylor (33) some contributions for New Zealand.
