Morton Replaces Richards in Windies ODI Squad
16-May-2009 22:06:00 IST

Chester-le-Street (England): Runako Morton will replace the injured Dale Richards in the West Indies squad for their upcoming One-day series against England, a team spokesman announced on Saturday.

Richards, an opening batsman, has not yet recovered from a right shoulder injury sustained during the tour match against Essex in April.

Morton, a 30-year-old batting all-rounder, has played 49 One-Day Internationals.

England and the West Indies play the first of a three-match One-day series at Headingley on Thursday.
