Last Update : 26-Aug-2008 14:12:00 IST

Colombo: After losing India in the first match, Sri Lanka find themselves in a must win situation with their batting failing to come to terms with India's seamers. India, on the other hand, would be keen to carry on the momentum and wrap up the series on Tuesday itself. Much of the success has been due to the seam duo of Zaheer Khan and Praveen Kumar who, with their contrasting styles, have found chinks in Sri Lanka's imposing top order.

Sri Lankan's opener fail all three matches, Kumar Sangakkara score of 19, 2 and 9, while Sanath Jayasuriya 10, 13 and 13 in three inning big problem for home team. Mahela Jayawardene will need more support from his team-mates, especially the batsmen, in what is a must-win game for Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka have gone 20 innings without a half-century partnership for the opening wicket against the top teams (excluding Bangladesh and Zimbabwe). They average 16.90 for the first wicket against these teams during this period.

For India Zaheer has taken 10 wickets in his last five ODIs at an average of 13.30 and an economy rate of 3.01 and good support by Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel in current series. But same problem for India it is opening, Virat Kohli start well but no convert in big inning and Gambhir fail in first two innings. Another big problem for India is that Vice Captain Yuvraj he fail in all three innings.

Pitch Report: A similar pitch to the first game is on the cards, and with conditions likely to suit bowlers in the evening, the captain winning the toss will almost certainly bat first.

Whether: Scattered thundershowers are predicted on Tuesday, but hopefully, the forecast will be as inaccurate as it was on Sunday. Latest Scoreboard

1:42 pm: It's been raining for the past 35 minutes. Nothing strong but intermittent drizzle. The covers are on and the outfield is obviously damp
2:10 pm: Rain still on. More covers are being added
