India v New Zealand, 2nd T20I, Chennai
India Bowl, Unfit Sehwag Rested
11-Sep-2012 13:42:00 GMT

Chennai: Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field against New Zealand in the second and final Twenty20.

India have left out an 'unfit' Virender Sehwag while spinner Harbhajan Singh, paceman Ashok Dinda and leg-spinner spinner Piyush Chawla will also miss out on the game.

All eyes will be on Yuvraj Singh who makes a comeback in the national squad after battling cancer.

New Zealand are coming into the Twenty20 format after a disappointing Test series against India. But it will be a blunder to judge the visitors' T20 ability by their Test performance, they have won all the three games they have played against India so far over the last six years.

However, they haven't played MS Dhoni's men in a T20 in India and they know that hosts will be a different kettle of fish.

The first game was called off due to heavy rain in Vizag on Saturday.

Gambhir, Manoj Tiwary, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni (capt & wk), Irfan Pathan, R Ashwin, Zaheer Khan, L Balaji

New Zealand: Rob Nicol, Martin Guptill, Brendon McCullum (wk), Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor (captain), Jacob Oram, Daniel Vettori, James Franklin, Ronnie Hira, Adam Milne, Kyle Mills
