Dubai: India's Sachin Tendulkar & Australian captain Ricky Ponting don't find place in ICC Test team of the year. South Africa captain Graeme Smith declared Test captain while Australia's captain, Ricky Ponting, has been selected to lead the ICC's World ODI Team of the Year for the second year in a row, having been named in the side for third year running.

ICC Test Team of the Year: Graeme Smith (SA, capt), Virender Sehwag (Ind), Shivnarine Chanderpaul (WI), Kumar Sangakkara (SL, wk), Mahela Jayawardena (SL),  Kevin Pietersen (Eng), Jacques Kallis (SA), Brett Lee (Aus), Ryan Sidebottom (Eng), Dale Steyn (SA), Muttiah Muralitharan (SL). 12th man: Stuart Clark (Aus).
