Gilchrist Confident of DC Defends Title

Hyderabad: Defending champion Deccan Chargers captain Adam Gilchrist on Thursday expressed confidence that his team would continue its winning ways and lift the third edition of the Indian Premier League as well.

The team could not win the inaugural IPL due to some mistakes but it rectified them to win the second edition the high-profile tournament held in South Africa, he said at a promotional event on Thursday night.

Ahead of the start of IPL3, Gilchrist and other players of the team were in Hyderabad on a brief visit.

The team is, however, not playing in its home ground as its home matches have been shifted from Hyderabad due to the ongoing Telangana agitation.
