Fast bowler Steyn is out of the match after breaking his thumb on the first day of the warm up match against Bangladesh A which ended in a draw at New Road. Steyn took seven wickets in the Pro-teas' 10 wickets second Test win at Leeds which put them 1-0 up in the four match test series with two to play after the drawn opener at Lord's.
Injury scare for Kallis: Jacques kallis gave SA on injury scare before helping the Proteas to pulverise Bangladesh A in their tour match in Worcester on Saturday. After Dale Steyn, South Africa had another worrying moment when kallis sustained a finger injure whle taking a catch on the second day of warm up match. he left the field for an X-Ray at a nearby hospital but then allayed any fears regarding his fitness by finishing the day on 55 not out in a second innings total of 145 for one.
