London: Andrew Flintoff starred with bat and ball as England won the fourth One-day International against South Africa at Lord's on Sunday, to lead the five match series 4-0.

England were set a revised target of 137 to win off 20 overs after rain disrupted the South African innings of 183 for 6 in 32.1 overs. With Kevin Pietersen making 40 and Owais Shah 44 not out, the hosts made it with 14 balls to spare.

Flintoff had come in earlier and smashed a rapid 31 off 12 deliveries only to add to his three for 21 with the ball. For the visitors, Hershelle Gibbs hit 74, showing the remains a force in ODIs with his 35th One-Day half century after South Africa were put into bat in gloomy conditions by England captain Pietersen. The opener was eyeing a 21st One-day century when he was bowled of his pads by Stuart Broad having faced 75 balls and hit nine fours.

Brief Score: England 137 for 3 in 17.4 overs (Shah 44*, Pietersen 40) beat South Africa 183 for 6 in 32.1 (Gibbs 74, Flintoff 3-18) by seven wickets.

Man of the match: Andrew Flintoff
