Bangalore: Test discard Yuvraj Singh will lead india Blue in the Challenger Series for NKP Salve Trophy to be held in Cuttack from October 23-26.

The national selection committee, which met here on Sunday, also chose Mohammad Kaif and S Badrinath to captain India Green and India Red respectively in the three-team limited overs tournament.

The series will give chance to players like Robin Uthappa, Virat Kohli, Yusuf Pathan and Piyush Chawla to impress the selectors. Leg-spinner Amit Mishra and pacer RP Singh who are in the current India Test squad against Australia, are in the India Blue and India Green team respectively.
