Bangladesh tour of Australia 2008, Second One Day Derwin
Australia v Bangladesh 2nd ODI At Darwin Wednesday September 03, 2008
02-Sep-2008 12:56:00 IST

Darwin: Two months ago in the West Indies, Shane Watson brutalised the Indies attack to register his first one-day international century while suffering from a broken toe. Now back to full fitness, he is looking forward to discovering what he can do to the Bangladesh bowlers on Wednesday.

Australia's one-sided 180-run victory in the first match was largely overshadowed by the Symonds fishing message. It could not have gone much worse for Bangladesh. They crashed to their lowest One Day score, lost by 180 runs and were slammed by their coach Jamie Siddons for playing "silly shots". It will take a remarkable turnaround for them to be competitive in the second match, let alone for them to win.

Fact about match

Time: 9.30am (local) 00:00 (GMT)
ODI form guide: Last Five match Australia won all while Bangladesh loss all five matches.

Team (possible):
Australia Shaun Marsh, Shane Watson, Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke (C), Brad Haddin (wk), David Hussey, Cameron White, James Hopes, Mitchell Johnson, Stuart Clark, Nathan Bracken.

Bangladesh Junaid Siddique, Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Ashraful (C), Shakib al Hasan, Mehrab Hossain (J), Alok Kapali, Dhiman Ghosh (wk), Abdur Razzak, Mashrafe Mortaza, Shahadat Hossain, Nazmul Hossain.

Pitch Report: Bowling wickets, if Bangladesh bowl first on Wednesday, they will be hoping to restrict Australia to around 220.

Weather: As expected in Darwin, the forecast is for hot and sunny weather with a top temperature of 33-35 degrees.
